Cozumel Rum Company

Located on 10th Ave close to downtown Cozumel, the Cozumel Rum company offers a great little tour for learning all about how rum is made.  And the best part – you get to taste their exclusive rums.  And they are awesome !

First you start with a history of how rum is made from start to finish….  Sugar cane, press, distill, etc.  I never really knew how it all came about.

Once you finish, then you get try  their rums!  3 types – white, aged and spiced.  The spiced is their own very special and secret blend, with cinnamon and chocolate and…. Really nice.  And you know me, I don’t like spiced rums.  This one is really good.

All of the bottles are hand blown so unique.  The experience is really cool.

In the back, there is a nice garden and that is where food and drinks are served.  They make their own beef brisket, conch fritters (best I have ever had), and much more.  So take some time to make a visit and try the rum.  You will not be disappointed.  And tell David that you are from Scuba Shack !
